Drop-in Lessons are private lessons for a student looking only for occasional tips / pointers in specific areas. These may include a specific technique or project. Drop In lessons are best suited for students who already have a fundamental understanding of their instrument and are looking to refine a particular technique, musical technique or receive targeted guidance for a short term goal.  This format allows for flexibility of scheduling without the commitment of recurring schedule. Drop In lessons are not recommended for those learning an instrument as consistent, structured, instruction is essential for building core skills, proper technique and ensuring steady progress. Drop-in lessons are not appropriate for young students or beginning students on any instrument as we believe strongly that to develop competence in a skill requires regular discipline and practice.  For information on-going regular lessons, please visit our Music Page Drop-in lessons do not provide steady income to instructors, so we cannot interrupt their regularly scheduled students for a drop-in lesson. As such, they are only available according to instructor and/or studio availability. Drop-in Lessons Prices are: $40 for a 30 min lesson / $60 for a 45 minute lessons / $80 for 60 minute lessons • Lessons are subject to both studio and instructor availability • Must be scheduled AND paid for in advance of the lesson (at least 2 days). • Lessons are non-refundable for any reason. • Lessons may not be rescheduled for any reason.
